Two things we love in one perfect transitional dress: a feminine balloon sleeve, and an amazingly flattering fit. And yes, it has pockets too. In our book, a transitional pattern is basically a neutral, which is good because you can style this new dress with basically anything. From the statement balloon sleeves, to the flattering (and comfortable) smocked bodice, to the lining that prevents peekaboos, we’ve really thought of everything. Perfect for the farmer’s market, wine tasting, apple picking…pretty much everything fall. We blended two natural fibers together to create this beautiful and breezy cotton voile fabric. Sustainable, breathable, and endlessly wearable.

Marine Layer started with a goal to make the softest shirt, one that would feel like an old favorite rather than a new one that needs to be broken in. In the 10 years since Marine Layer began, they’ve custom developed over 100 fabrics, with soft fabrics being their thing.
