Description

This bright and sunny cotton maxi-dress was hand-dyed in Jaipur, India, using the shibori method. It fits loosely and comfortably making it good for a variety of shapes and ties on one shoulder. Because it is hand dyed each dress will have slight variations in the color and pattern.

Shibori is a printing technique that involves taking a hooked needle and plucking sections of the cloth. Then a thread is looped around each section twice. The resulting dyed cloth has an interesting dotted pattern in the fabric as well as a water-like design.
